Juventus are understood to be eyeing a move for out-of-contract Paris Saint-Germain star Angel Di Maria this summer.
The Bianconeri are on the hunt for a replacement for Paulo Dybala, who will leave Turin on a free transfer at the end of the season.
90min understands that Inter and Atletico Madrid are among the sides in the chase for the Argentine, while Chelsea intend to join the race once their takeover is complete.
However, it appears Juve will not seek to sign a like-for-like replacement for Dybala and instead will move for a versatile forward, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that Di Maria has taken their fancy.
The 34-year-old's ability to play in multiple positions in a 4-3-3 is appealing to Juventus, and while he wouldn't necessarily be a direct replacement for Dybala should he sign, the Serie A side would be thrilled to have another left-sided attacker in their ranks.
It's reported that contact has been made between the two parties and Juve are now 'probing' a deal for Di Maria, who could sign a short-term contract before finishing his club career back in his native Argentina.
Di Maria isn't the only player that Juve are on the hunt for in this position however, with David Neres of Shakhtar Donetsk also of interest to Massimiliano Allegri's side.
Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo is a long-term target of Juventus' but it would be hard to convince Jose Mourinho's side to sell up given his recent resurgence.
