Roberto Di Matteo won the Champions League as Chelsea manager, so he knows a thing or two about what the club needs in a player.
He spoke to Sky Sports on the club’s preseason tour to America, and he seemed genuinely excited by the players they’ve brought in.
Both Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly should add a lot to the first XI this season, and Di Matteo went into detail about what each was going to bring to the party.
If Robbie is excited, we’re excited.
You can see the former Chelsea boss speaking in the clip embedded here:
"He [Sterling] could unlock defensives for the club and Koulibaly is very technical and physical."
