Galatasaray are set to complete the signings of Mauro Icardi and Juan Mata before the closing of the Turkish transfer window, 90min understands.
The Istanbul giants have already confirmed loan negotiations for Icardi, even posting pictures of the Argentine striker leaving a plane in Istanbul wearing a club scarf.
"Official negotiations have started with Paris Saint-Germain regarding the temporary transfer of professional football player Mauro Icardi," read a post from the club's official Twitter account.
Sources have informed 90min that Icardi's loan will be for one year, with Galatasaray holding the option to make his move from PSG permanent.
But Galatasaray aren't finished there. 90min can confirm that the 22-time Super Lig champions have agreed a deal with Spanish playmaker Juan Mata, who is a free agent following his summer departure from Manchester United.
Sources say all parties have already agreed and signed a deal and that the transfer is now only pending Mata's successful completion of a medical. The 34-year-old has signed a one-year deal with an option for a further 12 months.
Aside from Icardi and Mata, 90min sources also confirm Galatasaray are also looking to complete deals for Danish defender Mathias Ross Jensen, Austrian winger Yusuf Demir, and Kosovar forward Milot Rashica.
After a miserable 13th-place finish last season, Galatasaray currently sit fifth in the Super Lig table with 10 points from five games so far. Okan Buruk's side travel to Kasimpasa on Sunday.
