Barcelona have released the squad list for their game against Athletic Club this weekend, featuring some important changes in the list. Depending on Real Madrid’s game against Espanyol tonight, the Catalans could have a chance to go 13 points clear on top of the table.
Robert Lewandowski has returned to the squad after missing the Real Madrid and Valencia clashes due to hamstring discomfort. The Pole is still leading La Liga’s scoring charts, three points clear of his closest rival in Enes Unal.
Ronald Araujo is suspended after picking up a red card against Valencia and will not be travelling to Bilbao with the rest of the team.
Xavi has not called any replacement for the Uruguayan, with Jules Kounde, Marcos Alonso, Andreas Christensen, and Eric Garcia available as centre-back options.
Estanis Pedrola was called up for the previous game by Xavi, but is not part of the team for this game since Lewandowksi is back. Angel Alarcon continues to make the team list, though.
