Manchester United are ready to sign two strikers with stars of Barcelona and Feyenoord in their sights, Arsenal are ready to make a massive move for a Ligue 1 attacker, while Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Leeds will target a La Liga keeper as a replacement for Illan Meslier.

BLOCKBUSTER LEWANDOWSKI MOVE TO MAN UTD ON THE CARDS

Manchester United are strongly considering a move to sign Robert Lewandowski, according to reports in Spain.

The Poland marksman only moved to the Nou Camp last summer and has adapted extremely well to his new enviroment.

Indeed, he has an impressive 27 goals in 36 appearances this season and is showing few signs of slowing down despite being 34.

However, Barcelona’s financial troubles, together with their desire to bring back Lionel Messi, means his sale could be on the cards. And reports in the Spanish media claim they will not stand in his way should a tempting offer come in for his services.

Now those reports claim a summer move to Manchester United are a ‘real possibility’.

And it’s claimed that they will tell Lewandowski to ‘pack his bags’ should they receive back their £39.5m (€45m) investment.

Still in great shape, it’s reported that the veteran star could prove the perfect solution for Manchester United.

Indeed, Erik ten Hag’s desire to sign a new No 9 this summer is extremely well documented. And while potential interest in Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen will be fraught with difficulties, it might be seen as easier to land Lewandowski.

His deal at Barcelona still has three years to run so there is a feeling the 567-goal monster is far from finished.

Man Utd want Santiago Gimenez alongside Lewandowski

United, though, may not settle just for signing Lewandowski either.

And with both Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst moving on, Ten Hag is also chasing another new option.

As per Mexican outlet W Deportes, United have made ‘first contact’ Feyenoord forward Santiago Gimenez.

The 21-year-old has been in sublime form for the Eredivisive leaders this season, scoring 18 goals in 36 appearances so far.

And while he only joined the Rotterdam side last summer, his spell in the Netherlands could end up being a brief one.

Indeed, the report claims interest is gathering in the Mexican hitman. However, it is United who are ‘the team most interested’ in Gimenez’s services and there has ‘been a talk with the player’s environment’ to see if a summer move is possible.

And with a release clause set at just £17.5m (€20m) the striker certainly looks an excellent option for United.

Feyenoord, understandably, are looking to tie the striker down to a new and improved deal. And they reportedly hope to raise his exit clause in the process.
