AS Roma are confident of signing Evan Ndicka on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt, sources have told 90min.
The left-footed centre-back has been monitored by several of Europe's top sides this season with his contract up in the summer and many sides in the transfer market for such a profile of defender.
90min has previously reported that Liverpool and Manchester City have watched Ndicka, while he has also been of particular interest to Tottenham.
Barcelona showed a willingness to sign him on a free transfer earlier this year but have since backed away from a deal.
90min understands that Ndicka could be on his way to Italy, with Europa League semi-finalists Roma confident of wrapping a deal up in the near future. They do not currently have a left-sided centre-back in their senior squad.
