Arsenal make their return to the Champions League in Group B which also contains reigning Europa League champions Sevilla, PSV Eindhoven and RC Lens.
The Gunners most recently featured in Europe's premier club competition during the 2016/17 campaign - the same season that Leicester City were last in the Champions League. Arsenal topped their group that year but were thrashed 10-2 on aggregate by Bayern Munich in the round of 16.
Mikel Arteta's side were plucked from Pot 2 in Monte Carlo and - theoretically at least - lucked out by drawing Sevilla, one of the lower-ranked clubs in Pot 1 after finishing 12th in last season's La Liga table.
PSV Eindhoven shared Arsenal's Europa League group last season - both sides won their home ties - and were again paired with the Gunners in continental competition.
Ligue 1 runners-up RC Lens complete an intriguing Group B.
