Barcelona hoping to register three more players today, including €15 million-rated youngster

After completing the registrations of Ronald Araujo last night and Ilkay Gundogan earlier today, Barcelona are hoping to register three more players with La Liga today.

Indeed, SPORT is reporting that the La Liga champions wish to register captain Sergi Roberto, new signing Oriol Romeu, and young winger Ez Abde before the end of the day today.

The departures of Franck Kessie and Ousmane Dembele, coupled with the income from the Barça Vision lever have enabled Barça to register all their new signings and players with new contracts.

The report states that all documents have already been sent to La Liga, with the body studying them in detail, step by step.

There are no issues anticipated and there is expected to be enough margin to register all players before the opening match against Getafe tomorrow night.

More registrations to take place today

With two key players in Araujo and Gundogan now registered, the Blaugrana wish to take care of the registrations of captain Roberto, who signed a new contract with the club earlier this year, prolonging his stay until 2024.

New signing Romeu, who is set for an integral role in the team, will also be registered today if all goes to plan.

Abde, who is set to stay put at the club despite attracting offers from within Spain and outside, will also be registered as a first-team player after spending the last season on loan.

The 21-year-old, whose market value is €15 million, could have an important role in the squad now that Dembele has departed.

Barça will take care of the remaining registrations tomorrow, in time for the Getafe game, although there is no hurry with Inigo Martinez, who is currently out injured.

There should still some margin left over for any new signings that might arrive in the coming days, while Barcelona are also working to sell Sergino Dest and Clement Lenglet to create more room.

If need be, the La Liga champions are leaving the doors open for the possible sale of Ansu Fati as well.
