Barcelona’s €15 million-rated winger will seek an exit if regular game-time is not guaranteed

Even as Barcelona deal with the possible departure of Ousmane Dembele to PSG, they might have to face some complications with another of their forwards in Ez Abde.

The 21-year-old winger, whose market value stands at €15 million, is back at the club after a relatively successful loan spell away at CA Osasuna.

Starting in the first pre-season game against Arsenal in the USA, the Moroccan also made a big impression in the 45 minutes that he played.

Dembele’s imminent exit could increase Abde’s chances of getting a greater role in Xavi’s plans for the upcoming season, but that does not mean that the youngster will certainly stay at the club beyond this summer.

Abde prepared to leave if not guaranteed minutes

Indeed, as per SPORT, Abde is very much clear as far as his future is concerned – either Barcelona bet on him and give him regular minutes or he will seek an exit before the transfer window slams shut.

The 21-year-old has had a solid year away from Barça as he enjoyed a good spell at Osasuna and followed it up by leading Morocco to the trophy in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this summer.

Given his rise in stature, Abde has attracted interest from several clubs from within Spain and across Europe.

But, for now, the player has looked favourably on succeeding at Barcelona while the club are also not actively looking to offload him, especially with the Dembele case progressing.

However, with there being a likelihood that the La Liga champions will sign a direct replacement for the Frenchman and the arrival of Vitor Roque possibly in January, Abde’s pursuit of regular game-time might not be fruitful.

As such, the Moroccan international is prepared to move on if he feels that Barcelona are not ready to bet on him.

Real Betis the most likely destination for Abde

In case Abde does decide to seek an exit from Barcelona, Real Betis appear to be the best placed to sign the young winger.

Ramon Planes, who happens to be the Verdiblancos’ new sporting director, was the person who brought Abde to Barcelona and trusts the winger a lot.

As such, the 21-year-old could move to the Seville-based outfit in case it becomes clear that he will not play as frequently as he would like at Barcelona.
