Enric Masip, advisor to Barcelona president Joan Laporta, has accused Ousmane Dembele of being self-interested and inconsistent.
Masip said that Dembele showed a lack of commitment when he refused to sign a new contract with Barcelona, and that he prefers a player who gives a consistent 7/10 or 8/10 performance rather than a player who gives a 10/10 performance one day and then leaves for another team for more money the next day.
Dembele has responded to the criticism by saying that he is happy to be back in France and that he is excited to play for PSG. He also said that he is committed to the club and that he is hoping to have a big season.
It remains to be seen how Dembele will perform at PSG. However, his departure from Barcelona has left a sour taste in the mouths of many fans and officials at the club.
