EA have officially released their entire rating database for the first-ever edition of EA Sports FC 24 after a title rebranding from FIFA. The game features over 17,000 players and is set to officially release on September 29th on all platforms.
With the entire database officially out, Barça Universal takes a look at the ratings for all Barcelona players from the game.
85+ club — Lewandowski, ter Stegen lead the pack
There are seven Barcelona players rated 85 or higher in EA FC 24, with Robert Lewandowski the highest of them all, with a 90 overall. The Polish striker is also the highest-rated player from La Liga, joint with Thibaut Courtois.
Just behind him is Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has been given 89 after a record-breaking 2022/23 season, where he was one of the best players in the world.
Frenkie de Jong is the highest-rated central midfielder from the team with an overall of 87, one more than Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Ilkay Gundogan, and Joao Cancelo, who are all at 86.
Jules Kounde is the final one in the 85+ club, sitting exactly at 85, one higher than the previous edition of the game.
80+ club — Raphinha, Christensen, Gavi toppers
There is only one player from the Blaugrana to be given a rating of 84 — Raphinha. With a pace score of 91, he is the joint-fastest player in the team, tied with Alejandro Balde. He has also been given a one-point upgrade from last season.
Andreas Christensen and Gavi are just below the Brazilian, given 83 each, followed by Inigo Martinez and Ferran Torres with a rating of 82 each. Interestingly enough, though, Ferran has been given a mere 83 pace score despite being one of the fastest players in the team.
Alejandro Balde receives the biggest upgrade in the team, jumping from a 73-rated card in FIFA 23 to an 81-rated one in EA FC 24.
Oriol Romeu and Sergi Roberto round off this category with an overall of 80 each.
Below 80 — Marcos Alonso, Inaki Pena and loanees
There are only two Barcelona first-team players that have been rated below 80 for this edition of the game, namely Marcos Alonso and Inaki Pena. The former has been given a 79-rated card, while the latter is at a mere 73.
Elsewhere, Ansu Fati has received 78, Clement Lenglet 77, and Eric Garcia 75 but the trio have left Barcelona to join Brighton, Aston Villa, Girona, and Real Betis on loan, respectively.
