In order to survive or thrive in the Premier League, you've got to be stout at home and efficient on the road.
While it's imperative that teams make the most of their home advantage, as Nottingham Forest did last season to survive, you simply can't afford to go through the motions away from home. Every contest is significant, and Premier League grounds will quickly swallow teams up.
Well, apart from Craven Cottage. The folk are lovely down there.

We're only a month into the new season, and yet some teams have already played two more home games than others. Six teams have been fortunate enough to host three of their four opening games, with Arsenal the biggest beneficiary of this scheduling favour.
The Gunners have claimed seven points from a possible nine at home, and their record would be pristine hadn't they conceded a last-minute equaliser to Fulham. However, they also scored twice deep into stoppage time to beat Man Utd at the Emirates.
Arsenal currently top the home table, but there are six teams that boast 100% home records through the first month. Liverpool and Man City have played twice on home soil, winning both, while Aston Villa, Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and West Ham have each won one from one.
At the other end of the spectrum, no team has performed worse at home than Burnley, who have had a rough start at Turf Moor. Vincent Kompany's side have lost all three games at home, conceding 11 goals in the process. Although, their schedule has been tough.
Sheffield United are also winless in three home games, while Brentford have drawn all three of their games at the Gtech Stadium so far.

Tottenham and West Ham have been the most impressive teams away from home so far. After securing an opening-day draw at Brentford on Matchday 1, Spurs have since beaten Bournemouth and thumped Burnley on the road.
West Ham, meanwhile, also drew on the opening weekend before they impressively beat Brighton and Luton away from east London.
Man City have enjoyed a 100% start to the season, winning both of their away games at newly promoted sides, with Arsenal, Brentford and Brighton each winning their sole game on their travels.
Last season's worst-performing away side, Nottingham Forest, have already notched an away win as they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They also ran Arsenal and Man Utd close. Speaking of the Red Devils, they're one of five sides yet to pick up a single away point. Chelsea, Newcastle, Sheffield Utd and Luton are the other four.
Burnley are yet to play away from Turf Moor as their visit to Luton on Matchday 2 was postponed.
