Davies has options if he chooses to leave Bayern Munich

Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all shown interest in Alphonso Davies, who is set to be offered a new contract by Bayern Munich, 90min understands.

Davies' current deal at the Allianz Arena is up in 2025 and the German champions are keen to tie the Canada international down to a new one.

Since signing from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018 and transitioning from touchline winger to flying full-back, Davies has cemented his place as one of the world's most exciting players.

He has won 13 major honours with Bayern Munich, including five successive Bundesliga titles and the 2019/20 Champions League, and though the Bavarian giants would like him to extend his stay at the club, it's not a foregone conclusion that Davies will commit his future to them.

90min understands that Chelsea and Manchester City are being kept informed of Davies' situation, while Real Madrid are also monitoring his talks with Bayern Munich.

Davies' agent, Nick Huoseh, named Real Madrid as a club that would potentially act on interest in the left-back during an interview with 365 Scores, but also admitted Premier League clubs could also throw their hat in the ring.

"I can't talk much about [Bayern contract talks], we were talking at the beginning of the summer with the sporting director and the former general director, but everything was put on hold," he said.

"So you know, it was a bit chaotic at Bayern because things were changing within the club. So we didn't have any image. We were clear about how we were going to move forward, no one came up to us and said this or that was happening, so we just let things take their course.

"There is interest from many teams. I read the same articles on the internet, but in the end we will see what happens in the coming months. I am sure that Real Madrid can be one of the clubs that would like to sign Davies, along with several English Premier League clubs. They all want to have one of the best left-backs in the world."

Speaking specifically about a possible move to Real Madrid, Huoseh revealed Davies is in regular contact with David Alaba, who swapped the Allianz Arena for the Santiago Bernabeu in 2021.

"He played with Alaba for three years. They are friends, they talk all the time. The conversations they have together in private, Davies doesn't share all the information with me about it, but I'm sure David would like to play with him again," he added.

"They are friends, you know, they will talk a lot, but he is also friends with other players from other clubs, and he also knows players from other clubs in the Premier League and La Liga."
