Mikel Arteta will be back on the touchline as Arsenal travel to the Philips Stadion to face PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

The Spaniard watched on from the stands on Saturday evening as the Gunners succumbed to their second Premier League defeat of the season at Aston Villa.

That defeat means the Arsenal boss will be hoping to oversee a response in midweek, but a rotated Gunners XI is expected to take to the field in Eindhoven given that they've already won Group B.

Here's how Arsenal could set up against PSV in their final Champions League group game on Tuesday.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale - It'd be incredibly harsh on Ramsdale if he wasn't to make a Champions League appearance given the role he played in returning the Gunners to the big time.

RB: Reuell Walters - Arteta should utilise Arsenal's academy on Tuesday evening, and teenager Walters could get a start at right-back. The youngster featured in pre-season.

CB: Ben White - White has starred as a right-back since the start of last season, but the Gunners boss could use this game as a chance to deploy the Englishman at the heart of the defence.

CB: Gabriel Magalhaes - Arteta simply doesn't have the defenders available to rest Gabriel on Tuesday.

LB: Jakub Kiwior - Oleksandr Zinchenko will almost certainly return to the XI at the weekend, with Kiwior getting another start in Eindhoven. The Pole struggled at left-back against Luton Town.

DM: Jorginho - Declan Rice shouldn't be risked ahead of the festive period, so Jorginho could earn a rare start. The Italian hasn't featured from the outset since the November international break.

CM: Martin Odegaard - With Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe absent, Arteta will likely have to utilise the captain from the start. Odegaard dazzled in the reverse fixture.

CM: Kai Havertz - Havertz has been among the club's standout performers since the break. The German could retain his place in midweek, but Arsenal do have teenagers Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly to call upon.

RW: Reiss Nelson - Bukayo Saka will be bubble-wrapped for midweek and Nelson will almost certainly make his first start of the season.

ST: Eddie Nketiah - The striker's stock has dropped considerably in recent weeks, often struggling to have an impact off the bench. This is a big game for Nketiah.

LW: Leandro Trossard - Trossard harshly lost his place in the team after the November break with Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli usurping the Belgian in the XI. However, the former Brighton man will be called upon from the start in this one.
