Following their defeat against Girona last night, FC Barcelona are gearing up for their next challenge as they get set to take on Royal Antwerp in the UEFA Champions League.
The Catalans have secured a place in the knockout stages of the competition for the first time after two seasons, but are yet to secure top spot in Group H.
As such, the aim will be to put in a strong performance against the Belgian champions so that they can put behind the disappointment of last night’s match and finish as the group leaders.
Ahead of the game in Belgium on Wednesday, Xavi has already released the squad list that he will have at his disposal.
The Catalans will make the trip to Belgium without injured stars Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marcos Alonso, Inigo Martinez, and Gavi.
Meanwhile, as expected, Xavi has opted to give a rest to several of his regulars as Ronald Araujo, Ilkay Gundogan, and Frenkie de Jong do not make the list.
The squad comprises of only 11 first-team players and as many as ten names from the youth and reserve rosters.
Ander Astralaga, Lamine Yamal, Angel Alarcón, Marc Casado, Diego Kochen, Fermin Lopez, Pau Cubarsi, Aleix Garrido, Marc Guiu, and Hector Fort are the youth stars to make the squad list.
