Arsenal have confirmed that forward Frida Maanum is conscious and in a stable condition after collapsing during the Conti Cup final on Sunday.
The Arsenal star fell to the floor in the 96th minute of the Conti Cup final against Chelsea at Molineux, and quickly received treatment from paramedics and medical staff while the game was brought to a halt.
After receiving attention on the field, Maanum was then stretchered off by paramedics, receiving oxygen as she was carted off.
The club have now released an update on the 24-year-old's condition, writing: "Frida is conscious, talking and in a stable condition. She will continue to be monitored closely by our medical team."
Maanum has been a key player for the Gunners throughout the last three seasons since joining from Swedish outfit Linkoping, making over 100 appearances in all competitions and earning a place in the WSL PFA Team of the Year in 2022/23 for her wonderful performances for the north London club.
