Barcelona will lock horns with Catalan rivals Girona later tonight in a must-win encounter in La Liga away at Estadi Montilivi.
In what will be a direct shoot-out between two teams vying for the second spot in the standings, Barcelona will be eager to get all three points.
The Blaugrana have the edge at this point with a two-point lead over Michel’s side and must win to extend their advantage in the battle for the second spot.
Ahead of the game, Xavi Hernandez has announced the squad list for the trip to Montilivi. As was the case in the last game, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, and Frenkie de Jong miss out through injuries.
Hector Fort, Fermin Lopez, Pau Cubarsi, Lamine Yamal, and Diego Kochen are the young talents that have made the squad list for the trip.
There may be some changes to the starting XI to the one that took the field against Valencia last Monday, with Pedri possibly in contention to feature from the start.
