England vs Spain. We couldn't have asked for a better Euro 2024 final matchup than that, eh?

The two European giants are set to go head-to-head on Sunday in Berlin in what promises to a barn-burner of a game.

Individual battles look set to decide the final, with plenty of superstars of the game set to duke it out at the Olympiastadion.

Here's our picks for the most important battles of the final.

Nico Williams vs Kyle Walker

Two of the fastest players at Euro 2024 going head-to-head? Don't mind if we do.

Nico Williams has been one of the breakout stars of Euro 2024, regularly making light work of his opposing full-back thanks to his trickery and lightning pace. In Kyle Walker, however, Williams undoubtedly faces the toughest task of his young career to date.

The Man City and England defender is one of the very best of his generation and still has the recovery pace needed to go stride-for-stride with Williams.

This should be a fun one.

Jude Bellingham vs Rodri

Jude Bellingham is arguably the best attacking midfielder in the world right now.

Rodri is the undisputed best holding midfielder in the world right now.

Yep, this is set to be a bit of a blockbuster battle in the middle of the park.

While Bellingham hasn't been at his best at Euro 2024 - and Rodri most certainly has - the England man actually got the better of his opposite number in the two-legged UEFA Champions League battle back in April.

If he can do the same on Sunday, the Three Lions are surely going to win the European Championship for the first time ever.

Harry Kane vs Aymeric Laporte

Harry Kane and Aymeric Laporte have been regular adversaries down the years, going toe-to-toe on seven occasions across the Premier League and the Carabao Cup.

Laporte has had the better of Kane through the years, restricting the number nine to just two goals and an assist in their seven previous encounters, all while also bagging a goal for himself.

That's not to write Kane off from netting in the final, however. The striker is the joint-top goalscorer at Euro 2024 after all.

Lamine Yamal vs Luke Shaw

Euro 2024 may very well be remembered in the future as the 'Lamine Yamal tournament'. That's how good he's been thus far.

The Barcelona teenager's goal in the semi-finals made him the youngest player to ever score at a European Championships and he could become the youngest player to ever score in a major international tournament final if he nets on Sunday.

Standing in his way will be the now fully fit Luke Shaw. England's only natural left-back has been struggling with injuries throughout Euro 2024 and will need to be in peak form and physically ready to stop Yamal in Berlin.
