- Adidas release new third kits featuring club legends
- Manchester United and Arsenal among clubs in the campaign
- Juventus, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid also boast new designs
Adidas have released a selection of kits for the 2024/25 season - with Manchester United and Arsenal among the clubs with 'iconic' new third kits.
Juventus, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also revealed stylish new shirts, featuring a return of adidas' trefoil symbol. The campaign featured the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Patrick Vieira, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Zinedine Zidane and Alessandro Del Piero, players who are regarded as legends for their respective clubs.
United's new shirt, featuring a white canvas and red and black stripes, also welcomes the return of the popular Red Devil logo. Ferdinand, who enjoyed 12 successful years at United winning the Premier League six times and the Champions League in 2008, was selected to represent the kit.
The Gunners' light blue design is modelled by none other than former midfielder Vieira - who achieved two domestic doubles at Arsenal, as well as featuring in their historic unbeaten Premier League campaign.
United are set to kick off their new season on Friday, hosting Fulham at Old Trafford. They faced rivals Manchester City on Saturday in the Community Shield, but were unable to clinch silverware are Pep Guardiola's side triumphed on penalties.
Arsenal begin their journey in ending their 20-year-wait for a Premier League title on Saturday, facing Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates. They capped off their pre-season with a 2-0 victory over Lyon, thanks to goals from William Saliba and Gabriel - after defeating Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United earlier in the summer.
All of adidas' new third shirts will be available from Monday 12 August.
