Official: Barcelona squad list for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League

With the transfer window now closed, FC Barcelona have submitted their squad list for the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 ‘League Phase’.

The new format of the competition means instead of the traditional group stage, teams will play eight other sides in league matches – four home and four away based on which their fate for the knockout stages will be determined.

Barcelona learned their eight opponents for the league phase last week when the draw was held and will be kicking off the campaign against AS Monaco later this month.

Ahead of that, the squad list of the players for the league phase has now been made available on the UEFA official website.

As one would expect, Barcelona have all their first-team stars registered, with new arrivals Dani Olmo and Pau Victor featuring on List A, along with other members of the senior squad, which includes youngsters Pau Cubarsi and Lamine Yamal.

Unai Hernandez and Gerard Martin are the two players from the reserve team setup who are registered on List A, as they would not meet the conditions required to enter List B.

A player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, 1 January 2003 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA – or for a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year.

As part of List B, Barcelona have registered as many as 11 players who are: Ander Astralaga, Marc Bernal, Aleix Garrido, Pau Prim, Diego Kochen, Hector Fort, Sergi Dominguez, Quim Junyent, Alexis Olmedo, Andres Cuenca and Toni Fernandez.
