- Tottenham Hotspur have signed midfielder Anna Csiki
- The Hungary international joins from BK Hacken
- She will wear the number 14 shirt next season
Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of 24-year-old Hungarian midfielder Anna Csiki.
She joins the north London club from Swedish side BK Hacken and has signed a four-year deal running until 2028. Csiki will wear the number 14 shirt for Spurs next season.
The midfielder began her career in her homeland with Budapest-based club Ferencvaros, who she joined at the age of 13. After eight years, and two Hungarian top flight titles, she moved to Goteborg FC – now known as BK Hacken – in 2020.
There, she made 69 appearances and scored seven goals. In Sweden, she won a league title and featured regularly in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Spurs boss Robert Vilahman previously worked with Csiki at Hacken, as he coached the team as an assistant, and then head coach, between 2020 and 2023. He later joined Tottenham in the summer of 2023, and guided the team to their first-ever FA Cup final last season.
Csiki becomes Spurs’ sixth signing of the summer, and follows the likes of Hayley Raso, Clare Hunt and Ella Morris through the door. However, they have lost some big names in Grace Clinton, as she returned to her parent club at the end of last season, as well as Celin Bizet, both to Manchester United.
