After a loss to Osasuna, Barcelona will be looking to get back to winning ways as they take on Deportivo Alaves this afternoon.
Barcelona have already announced the starting eleven that will take on Alaves, featuring a few changes from the side that lost to Osasuna.
Hector Fort notably replaces Jules Kounde in the right-back position – a move likely aimed to provide a much-needed breather to the Frenchman.
The rest of the backline remains largely the same, with Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi forming the central defensive pairing, with Alejandro Balde at left-back.
Inaki Pena continues in goal, with Ander Astralaga serving as backup. New signing Wojciech Szczesny is not yet ready to feature for Barcelona.
In midfield, Hansi Flick has opted to deploy Raphinha in a number ten role, with Pedri and Marc Casado operating in deeper roles.
Raphinha starting in attacking midfield has given Flick the opportunity to start with Ferran Torres out wide. The Spaniard has a point to prove, as he looks to earn a place in Flick’s setup this season.
