      Any more Newcastle signings?

Eddie Howe has been one of the first managers speaking to the media this morning and the Newcastle boss has addressed their chances of being active in the last few days of the window.

Newcastle are, according to Howe, "not actively looking to recruit".

There have been no new additions for the Magpies this month, but they have waved goodbye to Miguel Almiron, whom Howe paid tribute to after his return to Atlanta United in MLS.

"Very special player, very special person, he's going to be greatly missed by everyone connected with us," Howe said. "Miggy was what you saw, the perception of him was real, bubbly and bright personality. He was very, very professional. Ultra professional."

Villa confirm interest in Felix and Asensio

There's been some interesting comments from Aston Villa's president of football operations, Monchi, about two potential targets for Unai Emery's side.

Monchi has confirmed Villa are interested in Chelsea's Joao Felix and Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Asensio.

"They are similar players, who Unai Emery likes," Monchi confirmed. "Asensio was tried by Aston Villa before I arrived. Last summer we were close to Joao. Neither of them are easy because in terms of salary and cost they are not simple."

Villa, though, will soon have some funds to reinvest from the sale of Jhon Duran to Al-Nassr.
